Dock One footbridge now open, connecting Dock One North to the heart of Port Adelaide

The Dock One footbridge is now complete, delivering a striking new connection across the water and strengthening links between Dock One North and the heart of Port Adelaide.

More than a functional crossing, the footbridge has been designed as an experience in itself. As you move across the harbour, you’re greeted with scenic views and a new perspective of Port Adelaide’s historic waterfront. Whether you are walking, cycling, or simply pausing to take in the outlook, the journey becomes part of the destination.

The footbridge provides seamless access to local cafés, dining, retail and entertainment, while also linking directly back to the growing residential community at Dock One North. For residents, it offers an easy and enjoyable way home; for visitors, it opens up new ways to explore the Port on foot.

Its completion also coincides with the transformation of the new community plaza along McLaren Parade. Together, the plaza and footbridge create a connected network of green space, play, gathering areas and waterfront paths—enhancing the highly walkable lifestyle that is reshaping Port Adelaide’s evolving precinct.
