Starfish Developments Managing Director Damon Nagel said he was delighted but not surprised by the keen response from prospective buyers.
“Dock One is the last undeveloped waterside dock in Australia. A combination of waterfront living and proximity to the rejuvenated shopping, bars and cafes of Port Adelaide, makes it an unrivalled living or investment opportunity.”
The Open Day represented a big milestone not just for Dock One but also Port Adelaide and wider South Australia as a whole, being the first residential local development to get off the ground in recent history.
Damon said, “Port Adelaide holds a special place in the state’s heart and history. Now benefitting from significant government and private investment and infrastructure, it offers huge potential.”
The event showcased the masterplan, properties and floorplans available in Stage One, along with the option to reserve a house. A guest DJ, chef and drinks from the Port Admiral Hotel provided entertainment and refreshments, with Port footie stars Robbie Gray and Ollie Wines there for chats and autographs.
“We’ve had a phenomenal response to the overall development with nearly 2000 people registering on the website,” said Head of Sales Deke Smith.
